REQUIREMENTS : Applicants ought to be in possession of a Grade 12 Certificate and Bachelor’s

DUTIES : Provide inputs in drafting coverage frameworks and hints for creating Small, Micro and Medium Enterprises (SMMEs) / Cooperatives in the DALRRD sector. Conduct research. Provide inputs into the improvement of the frameworks and guidelines. Provide growth file on the implementation. Conduct environmental scanning on the SMMEs in the DALRRD sector. Liaise with Provincial Departments to discover SMMEs / cooperatives for evaluation to define areas of enchancment and strengths. Conduct evaluation on SMMEs the usage of Diagnostics Business Assessment Tools. Analyse the results. Develop a file on the outcomes. Provide recommendation and help to SMMEs / cooperatives on the assessments conducted. Develop motion plans primarily based on the results of the assessments and prioritise areas for immediately motion with the SMMEs. Facilitate linkages with business agriculture, government Departments and different companions in order to develop the business. Monitor progress and pick out shortcomings in the implementation of the motion plans thru reassessments. Provide corrective measures to tackle the challenges emanating from implementation of the motion plan. Arrange workshops with different Directorates (marketing, inspection, plant manufacturing etc.) and different establishments (Small Enterprise Development Agency, Small Enterprise Finance Agency, South African Revenue Service, Perishable Products Export Control Board etc.) to aid in the compliance, increase and improvement of the SMMEs / cooperatives in the DALRRD sector. Capacitate SMMEs / cooperatives and / or Provincial officers on commercial enterprise planning and consider commercial enterprise proposals received. Liaise with Provincial Departments to perceive SMMEs / cooperatives that requires capacitating. From the
environmental scanning/assessments performed become aware of SMMEs / cooperatives that require capacitating. Conduct workshops to capacitate SMMEs / cooperative and / or Provincial Officials on the use and advantages of the commercial enterprise plan. Provide advisory guide and practise as and when required on the compilation of commercial enterprise plans. Assess and consider the outcomes of the capacitation of the commercial enterprise planning and report.
