SALARY: R1 269 951 per year, (salary package all included). RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide general leadership ensuring strategic management and coordination, as well as the successful operation of the General Directorate. Supervise the execution of the portfolio of Environmental Programs. Manage the projects of Environmental Programs within the provinces. Ensure the alignment of programs and projects with the strategy, policy, and priorities. Oversee contract administration and project management in accordance with applicable practices/legislation. Ensure operational efficiencies for Environmental Programs. Ensure that operational planning and implementation respond to the district’s development model and local government priorities. Ensure the capacity and development of contractors for Environmental Programs.
