REQUIREMENTS : Adult Education and Training (AET) Level four or equal (Grade 9). Five to Ten (5-10) years’ trip as a Cleaner in a sanatorium environment. Skills/Knowledge/Competence: Basic grasp of Policies (Batho Pele Principles, Patients Right Charter, Occupational Health and Safety, Six Priorities and National Core Standards/ Ideal Hospital Framework). Knowledge of cleansing approaches and primary know-how of the fitness systems. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skill. Good written and verbal verbal exchange skills. Ability to liaise with inner and exterior stakeholders, to speak properly with humans at one-of-a-kind levels, to prepare and plan. Ability to act with tact and discretion, be self-motivated and to take care of duties of multidisciplinary nature. Ability to work independently and in a team. Knowledge of Labour Relations processes. Must be organized to have interaction in intensive labour practices.
High degree of reliability. Good purchaser abilities and competencies. Ability to manage data confidentially. Must be in a position to work beneath strain and to take initiative. Be organized to rotate inside the scope of work. Must be organized to work shifts which includes, fixed, after hours, night time duty, weekends, and public holidays. Applicants must be organized to endure scientific surveillance
as an inherent job requirement.

DUTIES : Supervision of Cleaners via making sure that all group of workers is on responsibility document any absenteeism to the Manager. Ensure that attendance registers are signed. Develop and replace the cleansing rosters. Ensure that Cleaners go on coaching (including in carrier training). Daily inspections should be completed at the Wards and departments to make sure the cleanliness of affected person areas are completed (e.g., inner wards, offices, corridors, elevators, steps, kitchens, boardrooms, toilets,
bathrooms, relaxation rooms etc.). Ensure that the Cleaners are the usage of the right color code tools and cloth in the right area. Refuse luggage are changed and used for the right kind of waste (transparent for regular waste and pink clinical refuse bags) Daily checklists need to be signed off in the Ward and branch as nicely as the loos and lavatories each day after inspection used to be done. Report any issues by using phoning the accountable supervisor for example: Non series of clinical and/or typical waste or if the backyard surrounding is soiled with papers, backyard waste etc. Ensure that your subordinate’s tools and cleansing machines are smooth and neatly saved after work is done. Broken cleansing machines are taken to the cleansing branch for repairs. Cleaning fabric and chemical substances are ordered and issued timeously. Order and difficulty refuse bags. Ensure that subordinates put on their shielding garb (gloves, mask, goggles, and aprons) at all times. Ensure that janitor trolleys are used and thoroughly geared up with proper chemicals, tools and material. File all executed and signed off each day checklists for
evidence for the duration of NCS inspections. Disciplinary moves taken (verbal-, first- and closing written warning and reporting it to Labour Relations Office, hold report of all warnings). Provide practise and recommendation to Cleaners. Evaluate of subordinates (PMDS). Motivate workforce and enhance personnel morale. Implement teamwork.
