DEPUTY DIRECTOR: COMPLIANCE MANAGEMENT REF NO.: 3/2/1/2022/351 (X2 PUBLICATIONS)

SALARY: R382 245 per year (Level 09)
CENTER : Gauteng (Pretoria)

REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must be in possession of a Grade 12 Certificate and a National Diploma in Internal Audit/Financial Management/Law/Risk Management. 3 years of supervisory experience working in compliance management. Job-related knowledge: knowledge of corporate governance issues, Compliance public management, public service environment, Public Financial Management Law and National Treasury Regulations. Job-Related Skills: Dynamic leadership skills, good computer skills in the Microsoft Office Suite, proven project management skills, excellent communication skills (verbal and written), and excellent facilitation skills. It must be results oriented. Ability to work under pressure and customer orientation. A valid driver’s license. Team management.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Implement a compliance management strategy. Implement a compliance management process that includes compliance identification, compliance risk assessment, compliance risk management, and reporting. Develop a training strategy and train Department employees in compliance awareness. Update the universe of departmental compliance on an ongoing basis. base. Provide assistance in compiling the annual compliance management implementation plan. Participate in committees that serve as advisory bodies on compliance risk management. Provide assistance in coordinating the compliance report and assist in any required compliance-related information
by the Risk and Compliance Committee. Align compliance checklist with strategic and operational plans on an ongoing basis. Identify the Department’s strategic and operational plans in order to understand the Department’s business in order to identify regulatory requirements. conduct compliance
evaluations in the Department according to procedure. Conduct compliance monitoring in accordance with developed compliance monitoring tools and techniques. Communicate best practice methodologies and standards for compliance functionality. Research on what are the best compliance practices
methodologies and contribute to improving the departmental compliance management methodology.
