REQUIREMENTS : Minimum requirement: Basic literacy and numeracy skills. Experience: Appropriate trip in a health facility Food Service Unit. Inherent necessities of the job: Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Ability to work in massive scale freezers and bloodless rooms. Physically sturdy to elevate heavy objects and be on their ft the whole day. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Ability to feature in a crew and to work below pressure. Ability to put together meals in accordance to standardised recipes. Knowledge of National Food Service Guidelines. Knowledge of primary cleansing and renovation of equipment. Ability to read, communicate and write in at least two of the three reputable languages of the Western Cape.

DUTIES : Prepare, dish up and serve meals for regular and one-of-a-kind diets. Assist with the receipt, storage, and inventory manipulate of meals supplies. Follow and keep hygiene and protection directives which include the use of equipment and equipment, washing of crockery and cooking utensils. Assist with the casual in-service education of new employees.
