REQUIREMENTS: Relevant three (3) year Bachelor’s degree in Labor Relations/BCOM Law/LLB. One (1) year of functional experience in Inspection and Compliance Services. Current driver’s license. Knowledge: Departmental Policies and Procedures, Skills Development Act, Labor Relations Act, Basic Conditions of
Employment Law, Skills Development Levy Law, Occupational Safety and Health Law, COIDA, Unemployment Insurance Law, UI Contribution Law, Employment Equity Law. Skills: planning and organization Conflict management, interpersonal relationships, organization Goal-oriented, disciplined and with the ability to deliver deadlines, assertiveness.

DUTIES: Plan and conduct inspections independently with the aim of ensuring compliance with the Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA), Execute investigations independently on reported cases related to the violation of labor law and enforce when necessary , Plan and carry out regular proactive (Blitz) inspections to monitor labor law compliance, Carry out an advocacy campaign on all labor laws independently, Write and maintain inspection plans and reports, including analysis and compilation of consolidated statistical reports only on cases.
