SALARY: R261 372 per year (Level 07)
CENTER : Western Cape (Cape Wine Lands)

REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must be in possession of a Grade 12 Certificate and a National Diploma in Real Estate/Property Management/Law (property law). 1 year experience in the field of property management or environment. Job-related knowledge: Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Understanding of value-added development of communities. Knowledge in project management. Knowledge of the precepts, policies and Public Service Regulations of the Agrarian Reform. Job Related Skills: Report Writing Skills, Presentation Skills, Communication Skills, Facilitation Skills, Project Management Skills, People Management Skills, Research Skills, Analytical Skills, and Interpersonal Skills. A valid driver’s license. A self-directed initiative Individual, willing to travel for work and/or work irregular hours.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage and provide property leases and administrative support. Receive conversion request. Facilitate the signing of the contract by the tenant/caretaker. Prepare and finalize lease agreements and caretaker contract. Manage and dispose of holdings and disposals of real estate. Identify and facilitate assets for disposal. Provide supporting documents for the disposal of assets. To loan
support services to the district regarding contract administration. Notify the tenant of the expiration of the lease. Obtain written confirmation from the tenant of the intention to renew or terminate the contract. Upload the approved lease/caretaker agreement to the Land Administration Web (LAW). Safeguard contracts and inspection reports. Conduct site inspections and verify real and personal property. Compile a loss and damage report within 5 days. Submit the documents to the provincial registry within 3 days of receipt. Manage the electronic information and lease management system. Enter beneficiary details in LAW. Upload approval documents to the system. Generates contracts and reports on the systems.
