REQUIREMENTS Grade 12 certificates or equal (NQF stage four or 5). Security Certificate (A minimal of 1 year of study) Grade B PSIRA Certificate. Relevant safety offerings experience. DUTIES : Supervise the protection features carried out by means of the protection officers/ provider providers, making sure adherence to branch safety policies: Allocate obligations to safety officers/service providers, screen consequences and institute the critical corrective measures to tackle deviations from norms and standards. Monitor get right of entry to manipulate to stop unauthorised entry in buildings

Authorisation of the equipment, archives and shops into or out of the constructing or premises, Inspect and file all none functioning of protection measures (e.g. XRay machines, Walk-through metallic detectors, safety lights and etc.). Check incidents / incidence books/registers. Monitor and grant guide in case of emergencies. Render administrative and associated functions; Determining rosters, shift schedules and overtime. Monitor performance of personnel and decide education needs. Control depart and associated personnel things in line with HR processes and prescripts. Provide protection associated services. Administer key manipulate system. Identify dangers and threats to the safety of the department. Provide data concerning incidents to investigating officers. Monitor and reply to alarm system. Report misguided equipment/systems. Ensure structures are functioning optimally thru scheduled services. Conduct preliminary incident investigations and publish reports. Administer all manage room operations to guard the department`s assets; Supervise all manage room activities. Report all incidents and any identified non-compliance pertaining to to protection prescripts. Review of footages upon request via applicable procedure. Update all registers for the incidents observed.
