REQUIREMENTS : Minimum instructional qualification: Basic literacy (ability to read, write and basic numeracy skills). Experience: Appropriate ride in transportation of personnel and goods. Inherent necessities of the job: Valid code (EB) (Code 08) driver’s licence. Valid Public Driving Permit (PDP). Willingness to work additional time and to function standby duties. Competencies Knowledge/skills: Ability to speak in at least two of the three authentic languages of the Western Cape. Knowledge of routine, maintenance, Inspections for defects on vehicles and protected using skills. Ability to take delivery of accountability and duty and to work independently and unsupervised. Knowledge of Transport Circular four of 2000 and appropriate understanding of avenue networks in the Garden Route District Region. Knowledge of simple grounds and constructing protection skills.
DUTIES : Daily transporting of professional passengers, patients, post, packages, medication, goods, and gear as properly as completion of logbooks. Deliver and acquire blood products. Conduct movements protection and cleansing of Government vehicles. Conduct events inspection of automobiles and document defects. Perform movements administrative responsibilities when required and reply to emergencies when necessary. Relief workforce inside the thing when required. General grounds and constructing preservation obligations as requested.
